This beautiful wedding day took place in Plantersville, Texas just north of Houston. A Venue 311 wedding is always one of my favorites to photograph! I’m a sucker for a classic white chapel and venue! We were incredibly lucky the rain stayed away after being predicted on the forecast every day leading up to the wedding day. Between the white chapel, black iron accents, bridal suite of my dreams, a pond with a fountain, open fields and a gazebo, I was in photographer heaven!
We absolutely loved being a part of Rhett and Brooke’s wedding day! Their wedding day was simple, classy and filled with so much joy! I had the honor of taking Brooke’s bridal portraits a few months prior and she was absolutely stunning then, and even more stunning (if that’s even possible) on the wedding day! The joy Rhett and Brooke give off is so contagious and it really showed throughout the entire day. There were smiles on everyones faces and so much fun dancing! We loved getting to be around such a fun group of their family and friends.
This wedding will always be a special one for us because it’s the first official wedding where the “film” aspect of Shelby Cole Photography & Film was born! Rhett and Brooke also gave Alex and I our very first gift that has my future last name on it! Being engaged while photographing weddings adds a whole new emotional aspect to the day. ESPECIALLY Rhett and Brooke’s first look. They shared their written vows with each other during their first look and I got a lump in my throat and had to hold back the tears. They have so much love for each other and you could feel it throughout the entire day! Enjoy this glimpse into their day!
