It was a beautiful day at Jones State Forest for Karmin and Roy’s engagement session. The weather was perfect, with sunshine that filtered through the pine trees, casting a warm glow that complimented Karmin’s beautiful dress so well. We got quite lucky with some great spring temperatures for their session. It was a day filled with joy and laughter, as we captured the love and happiness that they shared.

Karmin and Roy were a joy to work with, their love for each other was evident in every smile, every touch, and every laugh they shared through some of my fun and silly posing prompts. We definitely had some fun laughs together! They were relaxed and comfortable with each other, making my job as photographers an absolute pleasure.

The natural beauty of Jones State Forest provided the perfect backdrop for the photoshoot. The greenery, the trees, and the sunlight filtering through created an ethereal setting for the couple. We captured sweet moments of them walking hand in hand, sharing a kiss, and even a few silly moments where they were just having fun.

I was thrilled to be a part of their engagement session, but Alex and I are even more excited for their upcoming wedding at the end of May at the restored 1890’s Victorian mansion, The House Estate in Hockley, TX. With the amount of love and laughter they shared during their engagement session, we know their wedding day will be filled with even more joy and happiness.

It’s a privilege to capture the love stories of couples like Karmin and Roy, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to document their journey.
