This Olde Dobbin Station wedding was so extremely special for Alex and I to photograph. This was the first time we had been back to our own wedding venue, but this was for Lauren and Jacob’s big day! Lauren and I fell in love with Olde Dobbin Station for the same reasons – the stunning greenery and vines that cascade up the walls of the historic buildings. The buildings were initially used by oil companies as a “pumping station” and later became a famous place of fellowship for those in the community due to its Artesian Water Well. It became the community “swimming hole” according to many of the locals and remains a historical marker for the community and its residents.

Every building on the Olde Dobbin Station wedding venue property is an original structure from the 1900s. The pump house and oil station have been transformed to bring a unique, one-of-a-kind event space with, honoring the old while celebrating the new.

In front of a stunning floral backddrop with delicate, orange, yellow, blue and pink pastel blooms, Lauren and Jacob exchanged vows in a heartfelt ceremony. The celebration continued inside the station’s beautifully restored reception area. Warm twinkling lights complemented the couple’s chosen spring theme perfectly. Guests mingled and danced to the music, their laughter and joy filling the air.

Lauren and Jacob’s spring wedding at Olde Dobbin Station was a true fairytale come to life. The breathtaking venue, filled with rustic charm and natural beauty, provided an enchanting backdrop for their love-filled celebration. From the heartfelt ceremony to the joyous reception, every moment was imbued with the essence of spring and the couple’s everlasting love. As the night drew to a close, the newlyweds embarked on their journey hand in hand under the light of sparklers, ready to embrace the beauty of life together.
